Which is why TIMAC AGRO Polska has renewed in 2020 its partnership with ASAP - the Polish Association for Sustainable Agriculture. The partnership creates and coordinates sustainable agriculture information and communication campaigns, and develops training programmes that give farmers access to specialist knowledge and help with introducing sustainable agricultural practices. ZOOM #2 FLORENDI WORKS WITH A LOCAL AUTHORITY TO TRANSFORM ITS USE OF FERTILISERS To support the local authority of Dinard (France) with transforming its use of fertilisers for sports fields, Florendi has introduced a comprehensive trials programme based on the year- round application of fertilisers and biostimulants in synchronisation with the grass growing cycle and sports field use. The results of these trials are expected to demonstrate that turf which receives precisely the right inputs will be more wear-resistant without the need to apply chemical plant protection products. This collaboration is a perfect illustration of the Florendi commitment to partner effectively with local authorities wishing to make this transition. ZOOM #3 UVA TERRA: THE FRUIT OF LOCAL COOPERATION OVER SEVERAL YEARS TIMACAGROFranceand theUniondesDistilleries de laMéditerranée (UDM) cooperative have signed a partnership agreement to produce and distribute organic fertilisers and soil improvers through the Uva Terra joint venture. Their aim is to develop a circular economy in which vineyard by-products (grape skin residues) collected fromUDM members are recovered and processed to create a new product that can be reapplied to vines to boost growth in productivity. In addition to the production and marketing aspects of this partnership, TIMAC AGRO France is also enhancing its local commitment with the creation of a winegrowers’ club. As a result, the 25,000 members of the UDM cooperative will have access to the support and advice of TIMAC AGRO France, technical offers and special prices on a selected range of UVA TERRA organic soil improvers. The new venture combines UDM expertise in wine production transformation and TIMAC AGRO France expertise in vine nutrition.“ Florent Cappe, TIMAC AGRO France General Manager
