Investment in a roller has made it possible to automate the cap application process as the products leave the machine; a task that was previously manual, tedious and repetitive for operators. ZOOM #3 THE TIMAC AGRO BRASIL TALENT FOR TOMORROW PROGRAMME The aim of the Talent for Tomorrow Programme is to work with the INSS (National Institute of Social Security) on recruiting disabled people and those who have completed their rehabilitation to fill administrative, sales and production vacancies. The programme provides a genuine opportunity for people with disabilities to enter the labour market with real prospects for development and internal mobility appropriate to their experience, skills and abilities. In 2020, TIMAC AGRO Brasil employed 75 beneficiaries of the program. 47 46 ZOOM #1 THE UFS: A NEW FACILITY FOR EMPLOYEE WELLBEING Construction of the new building close to the Group head office in Saint-Malo began in 2019, with a planned opening date of mid-2021. The UFS (User Friendly Space) is a new 3,000 m² meeting and wellness centre for the exclusive use of our employees and all members of our AS Timac sports and cultural activities club. Three sports facilities (including a fully-equipped gym), a restaurant, two rooms for arts and other leisure activities, and many other relaxation spaces are available to all employees over a very wide range of opening hours during the week and at weekends. Our intention in creating and equipping this building is to make it easier for our people to engage in physical activity and leisure pursuits in optimal surroundings close to their workplace. In this way, we are making an active contribution to their wellbeing and personal development by providing a broad range of activities and support resources and giving people the opportunity to build relationships and share experiences in a single setting. The UFS is designed to be a focus for activity, as well as sociability. It’s an open and shared space provided purely for the benefit of our employees. Its aim is to facilitate physical and cultural activities, at the same time as promoting friendship and helping employees build mutually supportive networks.“ Olivier Julienne, Deputy Managing Director
