Our historic company specialises in Plant Nutrition and Animal Welfare thanks to quality, locally-based French production through its 10 production units. Timac Agro continues to invest in its industrial sites, particularly at Tréport. They invited local institutional investors to visit the site a few weeks ago, as a way to reaffirm the importance of its local roots.

The Tréport industrial site, founded in 1938, was integrated into the Roullier group in 1979. It is a solid fertiliser production unit. By committing to local relationships, this establishment gave us a greater responsiveness on the markets. Investments are made with the same goal in mind on all sites in order to prioritise high-quality, French production.

Investing to ensure local production

Having been granted triple certification, (ISO 9001 (quality), ISO 14001 (environment), and OHSAS 18001 (health and safety)), Timac Agro affirms its wish to invest in modernising the site, as much for production capacity as for quality, which would ultimately allow for an increase in production capacity from 180,000 to 200,000 tonnes per year. “€3.9 million have been invested at Tréport over the last four years; our wish is to continue with these investments,” explains Agro-Supplies North Director, Jacques Fourmanoir.

Contributing to local employment

Our subsidiary is responsible for 45% of Tréport’s port activity. Considered as one of six major, local territories in France, Agro-Supplies management currently employs 160 workers, with 54 in industrial positions. As part of its development, the company is notably recruiting sales engineers. In partnership with agricultural wholesalers, these sales engineers advise and help farmers to work towards efficient and sustainable farming, every day.
